Electrician Plant Maintenance Full Time Rotating

Summary: Maintains major electrical equipment and systems. Facilitates repairs, replacement, and upgrades to ensure a safe and functional facility.

Responsibilities: Under general direction, inspects, installs, repairs, and replaces components of electrical distribution systems. Installs new system components such as electrical panel boards, switch gear, ATSs, generators, and paralleling gear. Assists in planning for expansion/renovation projects and forecasting budgets. Performs maintenance, service, repair, testing, inspection, and installation of electrical systems and components. Maintains inventory parts and supplies. May assist other maintenance personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; preferred: graduate of trade or vocational school in related field.
• Experience: 5 years of progressive experience with an electrical contractor, construction company, or in a commercial/hospital service environment.
• Certifications: Master electrician license required.
