Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrician Master (V) for the night shift to lead expert maintenance of highly automated systems including MCCs, drives, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, DCS, robotics and control circuits.

You will mentor Electricians II–IV, perform advanced troubleshooting, develop preventive maintenance plans, and support major projects and improvements across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; potential guidance on upgrading.
• Completion of Electrician Advanced (IV) required; demonstrates skills.
• 5+ years in electrical manufacturing preferred; strong troubleshooting.
• Experience designing/modifying PLC/automation programs demonstrated.
• Industrial electrical certification or technical degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize highly automated electrical systems including MCCs, drives, motors, and power distribution.
• Lead complex troubleshooting across automation, controls, and instrumentation; develop corrective actions.
• Develop maintenance strategies: PM, PdM; prepare detailed job plans and prints.
• Support major projects: PLC logic, HMIs, robotics; install and commission systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Electricians II–IV.
