Apple Air Heating & Cooling is seeking an experienced Electrician - Lead Install Technician for residential installations in East Farmingdale, NY. You will lead electrical system installations, perform inspections, and troubleshoot issues to ensure safety and compliance.

You will communicate clearly with homeowners, provide accurate estimates, and document service calls using ServiceTitan. A valid driver’s license, strong attention to detail, and customer-focused approach are essential.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience as an electrical installer or in a similar residential electrical role
• Electrical certification or licensure is preferred; technical/trade school training is a plus
• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting, and code requirements
• Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management tools is a plus
• Excellent ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers
• Attention to detail in accurate installations, diagnostics, and safety standards
• Customer-focused attitude with commitment to outstanding service
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Overview

Electrician - Lead Install Technician

Responsibilities

• Electrical System Installation– Install, maintain, and replace electrical systems and components, including wiring, panels, outlets, switches, light fixtures, and circuit breakers in residential homesSystem Inspections & Testing – Conduct inspections and perform electrical tests to ensure safety, performance, and compliance with all codes
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics– Identify electrical issues, diagnose system malfunctions, and provide effective solutions
• Customer Interaction– Communicate clearly with homeowners to explain issues, recommend solutions, and provide updates throughout the job
• Code Compliance– Ensure all installations and repairs meet national, state, and local electrical codes
• Service Calls & Estimates– Respond to service requests, handle call-outs, and provide accurate estimates for proposed work
• Documentation– Use ServiceTitan to accurately record service calls, repairs, installations, and materials
• Safety Compliance– Follow all electrical safety standards, PPE requirements, and best practices
• Customer Service– Deliver outstanding, professional, customer-first service at every visit

Qualifications

• Experience– 3+ years of experience as an electrical installer or in a similar residential electrical role
• Licensing– Electrical certification or licensure preferred; technical/trade school training is a plus
• Technical Knowledge– Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, wiring, panels, lighting, and code requirements
• Service Software– Familiarity with ServiceTitan or similar field service management tools is a plus
