Job summary

Generator Supercenter, Inc. in Peabody, MA is hiring a full-time Electrician (Journeyman or Residential Wireman) to join our team.

You will install and maintain standby generator systems and related electrical equipment for residential and light commercial projects, working with our installation and service teams. As part of North America's largest Generac Dealer network, you will ensure safe, code-compliant work and read blueprints, install ATS, and troubleshoot.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician or Residential Wireman. Full-time. Mostly Residential Projects.
• Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician License or Residential Wireman License.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of residential or commercial electrical experience.
• Strong knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code).
• AC and DC electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Comfortable working with tools, conduit benders, and test meters.
• Be able to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Installing Standby Generators and Automatic Transfer Switches.
• Electrical/Generator service calls.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership if necessary.

Your role will be critical in delivering safe, code‑compliant installations and troubleshooting services for residential and light commercial generator systems.

• Proper eyesight/vision to be able to perform mechanical repairs safely.
• Be able to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
