Job summary

Generator Supercenter of Boston is hiring a full-time Electrical Helper to assist skilled electricians on construction and maintenance sites. You will handle materials, tools, and equipment, participate in wiring installations, and learn under supervision. A driver’s license is required, and travel is expected with each scheduled install.

The role offers a pay range of $20–$22 per hour, 8-hour shifts, and opportunities to grow with a leading Generac dealer network in North America.

Qualifications

• Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist a skilled Electrician by supplying materials, equipment, and tools at the scene of jobs.
• Participate in installing underground conduit and wire.
• Participate as a trainee in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring systems and other electrical fixtures.
• Perform less difficult installations and make connections and terminations.
• Support operations to improve efficiency and customer service.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist a skilled Electrician by supplying materials, equipment, and tools at the scene of jobs
• Participate in installing underground conduit and wire
• Participate as a trainee in the installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring systems and other electrical fixtures and electric equipment
• Perform less difficult or routine installations and make connections and terminations
• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Willingness to learn and support the organization’s goals and values
