Hennepin Technical College seeks an Unlimited Full-Time Electrician Instructor dedicated to excellence in career and technical education. The successful candidate will teach lecture and lab courses in electrician, develop curriculum, and assess learner outcomes.

The role requires a Minnesota State Class A Journeyman Electrician license, four years of related experience, and commitment to serving a diverse student body through on-campus, online and hybrid formats.

Qualifications

Two-year diploma in electrician program or completed apprenticeship.
Four full-time years of verified related paid work experience as a licensed electrician in residential and commercial.
State of Minnesota Class A Journeyman Electrician License

Responsibilities

Teach lecture and lab courses in electrician
Continuous curriculum development, including design, revisions, and assessment of learner outcomes
Integration of assessment activities into teaching practices and participation in department and college-wide assessment of student learning
Support of the success and development of students through office hours and additional resources
Development and implementation of on-campus, online and hybrid courses
Contribution into department decisions on budget, scheduling, textbook selection
Participation in discipline, team, campus, and college matters through service on committees; attendance at regular meetings; and continued professional development
Support and advance the department and college mission through ideas and projects
