Job summary

Anoka Technical College is seeking an experienced electrician to become a Construction Electrician Instructor. You will teach hands-on skills, safety standards, and real-world problem-solving techniques drawing from an established curriculum.

You will mentor students, provide feedback, assess abilities, and help keep the curriculum current with industry standards. No prior teaching experience is required; support and mentorship are provided to develop teaching skills while you continue to stay

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in an electrician program or completion of a registered electrician apprenticeship program.
• Four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience as a licensed electrician in residential and commercial.
• Recency requirements with teaching experience in the credential field may apply.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on electrical skills, industry practices, safety standards, and real-world problem solving to students.
• Mentor students, provide feedback, assess abilities and share jobsite experience.
• Keep curriculum up-to-date with industry standards and participate in professional development.
