High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma. Experience in the construction or repair of secondary electrical systems desired.
Must be able to bend, push, pull, lift at least 50 lbs. Must have a current valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Electrical Department Crew Leader
Employee will perform duties in the maintenance and repair of electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures. Work includes the independent performance of less technical tasks of the electrical trade with detailed instructions. As experience is gained, more technical tasks are performed under supervision. Simple problems are resolved by the employee, with more complex problems referred to the supervisor. Errors could result in loss of life and/or extensive property damage. Work is reviewed for satisfactory completion. This employee receives direct supervision.
12-month work year, At-will employee, FLSA Non-Exempt
$34,885.80 to $50,197.80 / Grade 61
Performance will be evaluated according to Board and local policies on personnel evaluation.
