Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSkillforce is seeking skilled Electrical Maintenance Technicians in Dover, DE. This is for a corrugated manufacturing company. Temp to perm, or direct hire potential. Relocation and housing available! Also open to travelers on a short-term contract basis in the interim.

Electrical Maintenance Tech Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical System Maintenance & Troubleshooting.
• Use a multimeter to test voltage, current, resistance, and continuity on circuits and components.
• Diagnose and repair issues with industrial electrical equipment, including motors, starters, relays, contactors, and control panels.
• Identify and resolve issues with input/output (I/O) devices.
• Troubleshoot 24VDC, 120VAC, 480VAC 3-phase systems, and control circuits safely and efficiently.
• Control System Support (No Programming)
• Use PLC I/O indicators, ladder diagrams, and status lights to trace control logic and identify faulty field devices (sensors, actuators).
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and PLC wiring diagrams to locate issues or verify circuit configurations.
• Work alongside engineers or automation technicians to support PLC-controlled machinery, without modifying PLC code.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs) on electrical panels, MCCs, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
• Replace or repair faulty wiring, switches, pushbuttons, terminal blocks, and connectors.
• Support the installation and startup of new electrical equipment, ensuring proper wiring and safety compliance.

Electrical Maintenance Tech Requirements:

• 3+ years of Industrial Electrical Troubleshooting experience.
• Previous experience with BOBST and BHS
• Previous experience with Macarbox ().
• Prior work experience in corrugated manufacturing.

Location: Dover, DE

Pay:

• $33-$42 per hour

Shift:

• Third shift- 11pm-7am
• Overtime and weekend work as needed.
