Job summary

TIC Inc in Abilene, TX seeks a Lead Construction Supervisor to guide crew daily activities and production per project timelines, plans, specs and codes, with safety training and oversight of other crafts as directed by supervision.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating personnel, equipment and materials for safe, efficient construction; ensuring proper operation of equipment; maintaining daily reports and schedules; and promoting safety through toolbox talks and clear communication,

Qualifications

Must have high school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
Thorough knowledge of craft supervision and safety practices.
Ability to plan and communicate work scope, safety and schedules.
Knowledge of scheduling, material control, unit manhour performance, estimating fundamentals and job cost management.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment and materials for safe and timely construction.
Ensure equipment is properly operated and maintained.
Maintain reporting records such as productivity rates, time sheets, and daily reports.
Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequence of activities for assigned crew.
Ensure tasks are completed within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
Enforce safety rules and lead toolbox talks to communicate plans and safety concerns.
Monitor compliance with company policies.
