Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services in Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a long-term, on-site role. You will oversee wiring installation, repair work, and conduit routing, ensuring safety and reliability across the site.

Responsibilities include reading diagrams, installing panels and switches, testing circuits, and maintaining tools. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Knowledge of commonly-used electrical concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Works under supervision with some independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Prepares sketches showing wiring locations and follows diagrams to install concealed wiring.
• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, and installs conduit using hand tools.
• Pulls wiring through conduit with helper.
• Splices wires by stripping insulation and twisting or soldering.
• Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
• Installs switches, relays, and circuit breakers and mounts them.
• Tests continuity and safety with ohmmeter and oscilloscope.
• Observes equipment to identify hazards and needs for adjustments.
• Loads, transports, and maintains materials and tools.
• Complies with safety regulations and performs other duties.
