Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Electrician for either Afternoons or Midnights shifts. The candidate should have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, capable of installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. The role requires a safety-conscious, hands-on individual with troubleshooting skills in electrical and mechanical problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, motor control circuits, PLC systems, and panels.
• Assemble and install manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems.
• Perform inspections, testing, and diagnostics.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Collaborate with other trades and technicians on projects.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain records of inspections and repairs.
• Recommend system improvements for efficiency.
• Assist in installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Electrician or similar role.
• Deep knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, wiring, circuits, motor control, PLCs.
• Proficient with electrical and mechanical tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
• Work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.
