Overview

Job Summary:

The Journeyman Electrician's role involves facilitating the installation, repair, and maintenance of wireless and wireline telecommunications equipment. This position requires extensive travel and involves performing various tasks related to electrical systems.

What Will You Do

1. Complete QA inspections
2. Install service equipment, wiring, and devices necessary for electrical systems
3. Evaluate systems for maintenance, warranty repairs, and design purposes
4. Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues
5. Bend and install conduit, pull and terminate wires, cables, and install equipment, panels, and control components
6. Ensure compliance with company standards on installation and quality
7. Follow safety protocols and attend safety meetings
8. Communicate effectively with managers regarding issues
9. Document corrective actions and ensure timely completion
10. Maintain high standards of quality assurance, quality control, and safety
11. Complete proper job documentation after each task
12. Perform other duties as assigned, with flexibility for changes

What You Will Need

• Experience in electrical construction, industrial/ commercial maintenance, electronics, or military background
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work at heights up to 10 feet
• Color perception for wiring and cabling
• Ability to work independently on less complex tasks
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Adherence to safety procedures and rules
• Experience working with generators and automatic transfer switches (preferred)
• Physical ability to perform job duties as described
• High School Diploma
• 6+ years of experience as an Electrician in industrial or commercial settings
• Previous relevant electrical experience
• EL-01 Electrical License or Master Electrician License (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and insurability for extensive travel within Florida and other states (up to 75%)
• Support for the Mid-Atlantic region

Pay rate is based on experience, ranging from $30 to $45 per hour.

Position Type:

• Full-time
• Occasional evening and weekend work may be required
