Job summary

Amsted Rail in Granite City, IL is seeking an on-site Industrial Electrician to maintain overhead cranes, motor controls, relays and PLCs under the union wage scale. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and hands-on troubleshooting in an industrial setting.

Applicants should have an Associates degree in electrical disciplines or 5 years of relevant experience, with familiarity of VFDs, CNCs and robotics considered a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.

What we offer you:

The hourly pay for this position is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement (CBA). The current starting rate for this role is $$32.81 per hour, with progression through the established wage scale based on tenure and contractual increases outlined in the agreement. All compensation is administered in accordance with the terms of the union contract.

This non-exempt role is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with the CBA and applicable federal and state laws.
