Job summary

Conroe Independent School District is seeking an Assist Journeyman Electrician to support maintenance, repair and installation of electrical systems, including kitchen equipment, across district facilities. You will assist the journeyman in safe operation, follow safety procedures, and help manage tools, supplies, and on-call responses.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Texas driving license, and an Electrical Apprentice License to be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Journeyman Electrician in daily tasks as directed.
• Operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
• Follow safety procedures and techniques including lifting and climbing.
• Maintain safe and organized work area and report unsafe conditions.
• Keep inventory of district-owned tools, equipment, and materials.
• Respond to emergency calls and be on-call as needed.
