Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of Electrician Senior Intermediate (III) requirements.
- Previous experience in electrical manufacturing.
- Demonstrated advanced troubleshooting in industrial electrical systems.
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize electrical automation and control systems.
- Lead troubleshooting for complex issues; identify root causes and communicate findings.
- Update schematics and documentation; develop preventive maintenance plans.
- Mentor Electrician II and III; support Electrician V with major upgrades.
- Perform maintenance activities including PM, CM, and project support.

- Maintain & Optimize Electrical Automation and Control Systems
- MCCs, AC/DC, motors, converters, inverters, Line reactors, and power distribution equipment
- PLCs, robotics, motion control systems, and automation platforms
- Advanced Diagnosis, Troubleshooting & Repair
- Identify root causes across multiple areas (electrical, mechanical, controls, process)
- Communicate findings, solutions, and next steps to maintenance and operations leadership
- Update electrical schematics and documentation accurately and promptly
- Execute & Develop Proactive Maintenance Plans
- Preventive Maintenance (PM): Conduct inspections and tests using schematics, specifications, and procedures
- Condition Maintenance (CM): Repair/replace components identified through PM & PdM, ensuring updated prints and detailed job plans
- Support Projects & Improvement Initiatives
- Plant projects and upgrades
- Process improvement initiatives
- Installation of motors, drives, PLCs, HMI systems, and facility electrical equipment
- Leadership & Mentorship
- Mentor Electrician Intermediate (II) and Electrician Senior Intermediate (III) employees in technical skills
- Support Electrician Master (V) team members with major upgrades, installations, and system changes
