Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrician (Starlink) to provide maintenance, support, and coordination for electrical components and facility needs at our Redmond campus. You will be the go-to contact for electrical maintenance vendors and tradespeople, overseeing service requests, preventative maintenance, and access coordination for campus buildings.

Key duties include installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, performing LOTO, troubleshooting, and reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• 5+ years of professional experience in commercial equipment wiring, maintenance, and repair.
• State of Washington Journeyman license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform lockout/tagout to ensure safe isolation and zero energy state.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems and machinery; read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Carry out preventative maintenance of electrical systems and devices.
• Operate test equipment (volt/ohmmeters, megger, circuit tracers) to verify operability.
