Job summary

SpaceX is seeking an Electrician for Facilities with multiple shifts to repair, maintain, and upgrade electrical and electronic systems across plant machinery. Responsibilities include testing, schematics interpretation, and coordinating with teams to ensure code-compliant installations.

Qualifications require a high school diploma and 3+ years of experience; Master Electrician license and generators/large engine experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as an electrician.
• Master Electrician license preferred.
• Experience with generators and large engines is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace defective parts in electrical fixtures.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on plant electrical systems and components.
• Test circuits to ensure operability and safety; install components to code specs.
• Test wiring with volt/ohmmeters and oscilloscopes; assist with site upgrades.
