Significant travel up to 20% and use of personal hand tools are expected. The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work both

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Machine Tool Electrician or in a similar role.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
• Must own hand tools and be able to use them effectively.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% per year.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Physically capable of lifting/moving equipment over 10 lbs.

Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand assembly requirements and specifications
• Installation and assembly of control panels using hand tools and power tools according to product specifications
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machine tools and automation systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Collaborate with engineering and other team members to interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and technical specifications for machine tool integration
• Perform preventative maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of electrical systems
• Keeping updated on machine tool field concepts, practices, and procedures

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience (minimum of 5 years) in a Machine Tool Electrician of similar role
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints accurately and effectively
• Must possess own hand tools
• Ability to effectively and efficiently work individually and as well in a team environment
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must be willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally at 20% or less per calendar year
• Frequently moves, lifts, transports, positions, and installs equipment and material greater than 10lbs
