Qualifications

  • 1–5 years of electrical experience or active apprenticeship enrollment.
  • Basic understanding of residential electrical systems (solar experience a plus).
  • Willingness to learn and follow direction in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various project sites.
  • Ability to pass a basic background check for clearance to work on public properties.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation and connection of residential solar systems, including panels, inverters, and electrical components.
  • Support troubleshooting and repairs to ensure system performance and safety.
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and installation plans.
  • Work with patented/proprietary products while following company installation standards.
  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with Journeyman Electricians, installers, and project teams across multiple job sites.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aiea, HI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr.
