Job summary

Cedar Community in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Electrician to help keep our facilities safe and efficient for residents. This full-time role covers day shift with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities.

You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, HVAC components, and building infrastructure, collaborating with a supportive team in a mission-driven community.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical, electrical, trade school education, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building maintenance, HVAC, and preventive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose building systems and equipment.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license required.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code and applicable regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, switches, distribution equipment, and other building infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, control systems, and other mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose equipment and building system issues, complete work orders, maintain service records, and order replacement parts.
  • Assist with remodeling projects, equipment installations, renovations, and researching new building systems.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Electrical Systems – Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance onelectrical systems, motors, switches, distribution equipment, and otherbuilding infrastructure.
