NC State University is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance services for residence halls, apartments, and fraternity/sorority houses. The technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across campus.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and considerable knowledge of the electrical trade, as well as a valid North Carolina driver’s license. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional overtime.
Facility Maintenance Technician - Mechanical Trades
The primary purpose of this position is to provide expedient and professional maintenance to the students who live in residence halls, apartments, and fraternity/sorority houses on the campus of NC State. The incumbent will construct, install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures throughout the housing facilities.
Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required during heavy work loads.
Housing – Facilities Administration, Department of Academic & Student Affairs, NC State.
$56,000 – $64,000 per year.
