Position Title: Electrician

Wage: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Electrician position available at a company in Franksville, WI. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.

Electrician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Commercial wiring work in a manufacturing environment.
2. Aiding in construction of buildings - installing siding, trim work, hanging doors, and other associated tasks.
3. Running, bending, and hanging conduit.
4. Pulling wire.
5. Installing boxes.
6. Making terminations.
7. Supporting installation of new control panels.
8. Wiring generators and control panels.
9. Material handling.

Electrician Requirements:

1. Basic electrical knowledge, preferably in a manufacturing environment, including reading plans and specifications.
2. Knowledge of NEC Code.
3. Ability to use basic hand tools such as hammers, drills, and saws.
4. Ability to read levels and tape measures.
5. Problem Solving and Analytical skills.
6. Strong Communication Skills.
7. Flexibility.
8. Physical requirements: standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms; sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; lifting up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
9. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
10. High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience. Post-secondary education or trade school; Journeyman Electrician is preferred but not required.
