No prior industry experience is required, and a strong willingness to learn is essential. This role involves traveling to job sites, performing duties in commercial and industrial environments, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • No prior industry experience required.
  • Ability to learn technical skills and follow instructions.
  • Must be able to work under direct supervision.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
  • If Driving Role: Must have a clean driving record and active driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist technicians with service and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
  • Support basic troubleshooting activities under direct supervision.
  • Handle tools, materials, and equipment required for service jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Learn and apply industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Accurately complete basic documentation as directed by supervisor.
  • Travel to job sites as required with assigned team members.
  • Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Perform work in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
  • Travel to job sites as required.

The technician will assist with inspections, testing, maintenance, and basic service tasks while developing foundational skills in the fire protection industry.
