Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety, LLC is seeking a Sr Fire Alarm Install Technician to install and verify complex fire alarm systems on site. The role requires strong independent performance, adherence to codes, and guidance to junior technicians.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in the fire and life safety industry, ability to read blueprints, and NICET II or higher preferred. Travel to multiple job sites is expected; driving record must be clean.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in fire and life safety industry as a technician.
• NICET Level II or above preferred; state/local licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Independently install fire alarm systems in accordance with plans, specs, and codes.
• Complete installation projects without direct supervision.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and verification.
• Maintain accurate documentation and a clean job site.

Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Fire Alarm Install Sr Technician is an experienced technician who demonstrates strong independent performance and technical functionality. The technician is capable of completing installation jobs independently while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company expectations.
