Etched is seeking an Electricals Materials Handler to own the lifecycle of board electricals from receiving to kits and CM handoff on our in-house SMT line. You’ll sit on the Inventory team and be the source of truth for materials, ensuring traceability and accurate stock across sites.

You will run clean consignment with contract manufacturers, maintain BOM alignment, and publish weekly on-hand and in-transit data to drive procurement decisions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years handling electronic components in a manufacturing, EMS/CM, or hardware-startup environment.
• Knowledge of ESD control (ANSI/ESD S20.20) and moisture-sensitivity handling (IPC/JEDEC J-STD-033).
• Able to read a BOM, PCB assembly drawing and a component datasheet, and spot mismatches.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP or inventory system for receiving, transfers and cycle counts.
• Proficient with spreadsheets for lookups and pivots.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers on consigned or customer-furnished material.
• Organized under pressure with rapidly changing prototype builds.
• Clear written communication; able to document processes for others.
• Interest in automating tasks with agentic AI models.
• Ownership mentality; accountable to outcomes and goals.

Responsabilités

• Storage and handling: Receive, label, measure quantity, inspect and store board electricals with full traceability.
• Consignment with CMs: Manage records at CM sites; run cycle counts and reconcile variances.
• Incoming quality control: Inspect lots, quarantine non-conforming parts, raise supplier issues; keep records.
• Kitting: Pull and kit components to released BOM for prototypes and SMT runs; flag shortages or mismatches.
• Reporting to Procurement: Publish weekly on-hand, allocated, in-transit and CM quantities; adjust forecasts.
• Processes: Write SOPs for receiving, consignment transfers, RMA and return-to-stock.
• Automation: Help pull inventory data into automated reporting and reorder signals.
