Job summary

Benchmark Electronics in Huntsville, AL is seeking a warehouse/materials clerk to receive, issue and stock parts for production. You will pull components, process requisitions, and maintain cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory in the MES and ERP systems.

You will cooperate with Receiving, Inspection, and Production Control, ensuring timely material availability for programs. This safety-sensitive role requires precision, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.
0-2+ years of materials/warehouse experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well as an individual or on teams.

Responsibilities

Pull parts from stock to build kits assigned to Production Control; issue and distribute the kits to the manufacturing operation.
Fill and account for material requisitions submitted from Operations.
Receive and place parts/components into stock from Receiving/Inspection.
Assist in tracking and filling backorders as parts/components become available.
Ensure the correct balances are maintained by the performance of Cycle Counts.
Restock shelves with incoming material and locate material in the computerized system.
Monitor reports to ensure Priority material is delivered to the correct location in a timely manner.
May operate a forklift and assist in shipping as needed.
