Job summary

Granite City Electric in Methuen, MA is hiring a Warehouse Associate to perform clerical and physical warehouse duties, including inventory management, receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials. The position pays $21.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; forklift knowledge and warehouse equipment experience preferred. Proficiency with Eclipse software and strong math/communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work orders and documentation.
• Experience with electrical wire/cable handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Move material safely by hand or using forklift, pallet jack or cart.
• Accurately count, check, prepare, and locate items received or shipped.
• Assist with inventory maintenance and department upkeep.
• Complete paperwork and data input per procedures.
• Assemble wire leads based on work orders and color codes.
• Maintain knowledge of GCE policies and product knowledge.
• Provide helpful, cooperative customer and coworker support.
• Participate in safety programs and training.
• Learn and use Eclipse software for daily tasks.
• Support monthly inventory and proper storage of reels.
