Job summary

Granite City Electric is seeking a Warehouse Receiving Associate for our Chicopee, MA location. Hours are 6:00AM-2:30PM with an hourly rate of $20-$28. The role involves inventory management, receiving, storing, picking, and shipping materials, plus clerical duties and data input.

Responsibilities include safely moving materials, maintaining accurate counts, assisting in monthly inventories, and gaining proficiency with Eclipse software. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Forklift operations knowledge preferred.
• Previous electrical wire/cable cutting experience a plus.
• Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.

Responsibilities

• Move material safely by hand or using forklift, pallet jack, or handcart.
• Count, check, prepare, and locate items being received or shipped.
• Maintain inventory and department upkeep; complete paperwork and data input.
• Assemble wire leads per work order and color codes; learn Eclipse software.
