Job summary

Granite City Electric is seeking a Warehouse Associate for its Methuen, MA location. You will perform both clerical and hands-on warehouse duties, including inventory control, receiving, storage, picking, and shipment of materials.

The position pays an hourly wage of $21.00 to $23.00, depending on experience, and offers standard benefits with 401k, health coverage, telehealth, and employee assistance. Join a team that supports safety and efficiency in a long-established electrical supply

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse equipment preferred.
• Previous electrical wire/cable cutting experience a plus.
• Equivalent education or experience may be substituted for any of the above.

Responsibilities

• Move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, or handcart.
• Count, check, prepare, and locate received or shipped items.
• Maintain inventory and department upkeep.
• Complete paperwork and data input per procedures.
• Assemble electrical wire leads based on work orders and color codes.
• Learn GCE policies and product knowledge; attend meetings.
• Provide helpful service to customers and co-workers.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Maintain Eclipse system knowledge.
• Support monthly Rapid Reel inventory and reel storage.
• Assist in wire machine maintenance.
• Perform other duties; participate in yearly performance reviews.
