Job summary

Infinity Contractors, a growing underground conduit systems specialist serving the Carolinas and surrounding states, is seeking a Project Manager-Electrical Underground Utility in the Charlotte area. You will oversee projects from inception to completion, reading blueprints, managing contracts, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Proven experience in construction project management or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of construction site operations and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
• Familiarity with construction estimating practices and tools.
• Experience with project management software is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership abilities with effective communication across teams.
• A degree in Construction Management or a related field is an asset but not mandatory; relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using tools such as ProCore.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Prepare construction estimates and budgets based on project requirements.
• Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project, including clients and team members.
• Ensure all contracts are adhered to and manage any changes or disputes that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Manage procurement processes, including tracking materials and equipment needs using Construction management software.
• Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and issues for senior management.
