Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking an Evaluator to perform electrical testing and evaluation of transformers, ensuring safety, product quality, and adherence to company policies.

You will conduct inspections, collect measurements, photos, and drawings for fabrication options; document results, support inventory thresholds, and collaborate with other departments while maintaining a clean, safe workstation.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Technical or Vocational school preferred.
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• 1-3 years transformer experience preferred.
• 1-3 years mechanical and/or electrical field experience preferred.
• Material handling equipment experience (forklift, crane, etc.) preferred.
• OSHA10 certification preferred.
• Proven track record in safety excellence is required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate transformers through internal/external inspections, electrical testing, and troubleshooting.
• Collect dimensions, measurements, photos, and drawings to document findings for fabrication options.
• Follow minimum and maximum guidelines on inventory threshold needs.
• Operate tablet to complete data collection for inventory equipment and evaluations.
• Partner with other departments on the results of the units after evaluation.
• Complete virtual warehouse transactions.
• Maintain internal quality standards and compliance with safety factors.
• Provide reporting and data metrics to management.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstation.
