Job summary

Ace Electric, Inc. is seeking a Training Instructor to deliver engaging electrical training across our Plain City, OH operations. You will use diverse teaching methods, manage labs and MEWP demonstrations, and mentor learners in safety and NEC standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in electrical or training roles, OSHA 10, and a valid driver’s license. A bachelor’s degree and union apprenticeship are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of related electrical, construction, or training experience preferred.
• Completion of a U.S. Department of Labor–registered electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• OSHA 10 – Construction completed within the last 4 years required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Uses classroom technology and instructional equipment effectively.
• Develops a lesson plan for each course to ensure learning objectives are addressed.
• Delivers established curriculum clearly to groups of varying sizes.
• Creates a positive learning environment that encourages student involvement.
• Prepares, demonstrates, and facilitates hands-on laboratory exercises.
• Operates and trains others on MEWP equipment in line with safety and company policy.
• Evaluates student understanding and provides constructive feedback.
• Maintains training records, including attendance and course completions.
• Follows document-control procedures for training materials and records.
• Adheres to all safety policies and maintains a professional classroom and lab environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
