Job summary

Bopat Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Testing Technician II to join the Power Services Division. You will perform acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning testing on low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution equipment, while documenting findings and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Eligible candidates have 2+ years in testing/commissioning, NETA Level II or equivalent, and are willing to travel across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years in electrical testing, commissioning or related field.
• Experience with low- and medium-voltage distribution equipment.
• Willingness to travel regionally, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Perform acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning testing on power distribution equipment.
• Inspect breakers, switchgear, transformers, cables and related apparatus.
• Document test results and equipment conditions accurately.
• Follow safety procedures including OSHA 10/30 and lockout/tagout.
