Job summary

Vertiv seeks an engineer to perform testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems. You will troubleshoot relay systems, calibrate devices, and work with load recording instrumentation up to 15 kV.

You will produce detailed reports, assist with proposals, and may participate in business development. Travel may be required domestically and internationally.

Strong knowledge of NEC, NETA, and relevant standards is essential; a degree in engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NEC and industry standards (OSHA/NFPA) required.
• NETA exam must be passed.
• Experience with switchgear testing through the 15-kV class.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain electrical power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot relay calibration and metering; tests up to 15 kV.
• Prepare detailed project reports and billing.
• Contribute to business development with client proposals and estimates.
• Perform analyses for equipment labeling per standards.
• Travel as required for assignments.
