Eaton in South Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an Electrical Tester-1st shift. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining test equipment to evaluate electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. Opportunities exist to advance to Electrical Tester II with progression.

The job offers a competitive hourly rate of $29.60, with a 6:30 am–2:30 pm core schedule and overtime may be required. Benefits include health coverage, paid holidays, and weekly pay.

Formación

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
• Experience with electrical concepts such as electricity, motors and controls, PLC programming, and fundamentals of AC/DC.
• No immigration sponsorship offered; candidates outside 50-mile radius not considered; military exemptions apply.

Responsabilidades

• Test equipment to meet customer specifications and safety/quality requirements.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Build knowledge through classroom work, reading, and training with a tester II or engineer.
• Develop rapport with customers and interface on witness tests.
• Record data, write reports, and process paperwork accurately and on time.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues during tests with guidance from senior staff.
• Suggest improvements to test setups and procedures where appropriate.
• Perform electrical testing on equipment from 5VDC to 30KVAC three-phase power.
