Job summary

Base is seeking a Validation Technician to build the test infrastructure that lets us ship new hardware and software with confidence. You’ll translate engineering designs into physical test benches and fixtures, from low-voltage harnesses to 240/480V power circuits, built to run around the clock.

You’ll document every build so future stations go up in days, not weeks, and you’ll collaborate with engineering to decide what to fabricate in-house vs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in electrical work or hands-on technical roles such as fabrication or motorsports.
• Hands-on wiring of harnesses and power circuits from schematic to build.
• Ability to design or fabricate enclosures, mounting brackets, or racking systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire test benches and fixtures, from signal-level harnesses to 240/480V power circuits
• Document every build so a station can be replicated quickly
• Design and fabricate enclosures, mounting brackets, and racking systems for continuous operation
• Decide when to fabricate in-house vs outsource and ensure correct construction
• Keep test systems running and ready for engineering and automated testing, 24/7
• Follow wiring schematics and safety/inspection standards for low- and high-voltage work
