Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Arden, NC is seeking an Electrical Test Specialist to own final inspection and functional testing of power distribution assemblies. You will translate schematics into test setups, validate performance, and ensure shipments meet engineered specifications and customer expectations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least two years in power or electrical distribution, and proven ability to troubleshoot complex circuits; experience reading

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in power or electrical distribution.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.
• No immigration sponsorship accepted for this position; CPT/OPT/STEM OPT etc. not offered.

Responsibilities

• Own final inspection and functional testing for structures, units, panels, and complete assemblies.
• Translate schematics and instructions into precise test setups and procedures.
• Diagnose test failures, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with Engineering, Quality and production leadership.
• Support customer inspectors and verify orders are complete and compliant.
• Drive continuous improvement across assembly, wiring, calibration, and testing; document all changes and repairs.
• Maintain test equipment and calibration; produce accurate records and reports.
• Model safe work practices, PPE use, hygiene, and housekeeping.
