Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Omaha, NE is seeking an Electrical Technician I for final inspection and functional testing of Eaton products. The role includes creating test plans, testing per schematics, and performing repairs to ensure correct product function.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate and benefits, with core hours from 6am to 3:30 pm, and opportunities for skill growth in electrical testing and assembly processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 2 years’ work experience in power distribution or electrical distribution.
• Experience troubleshooting complex electrical circuits.

Responsibilities

• Follow verbal and written instructions, drawings, and specifications to set up, inspect, and test equipment.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, insulation, and sequence testing; inspect assemblies, panels, and components for quality and functionality.
• Troubleshoot test failures, determine root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with Engineering, Quality, and supervision.
• Verify customer orders for completeness and support customer inspectors during testing and inspection activities.
• Recommend and support improvements to assembly, wiring, calibration, testing procedures, and ensure required changes and repairs are completed.
• Maintain test equipment, calibration status, records, and reports.
• Comply with all safety, PPE, hygiene, and housekeeping requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
