Job summary

Innomotics is seeking an Electrical Test Technician I (1st Shift) to join our team. The role tests variable frequency drives, subassemblies, and components, and assists in assembling systems and sub-assemblies under supervision.

The position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor and requires an Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent, plus hands-on testing experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other equipment. Safety and Lean practices are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
• Test equipment knowledge: Oscilloscopes, Hi-Pot Tester, Digital Multimeter, Clamp-on Current Transformers.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow engineered drawings, wiring schematics, and bill of materials.
• Safely use ladders and scaffolding to work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate product functionality to predefined test criteria using various test equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and PPE.
• Assist EET-II/EET-III with connection and energizing of final product (low/medium/high voltage).
• Complete standard FAT testing.
• Perform maintenance of electrical testing equipment and systems.
• Perform wiring, cable prepping, and assembly per wiring diagrams and BOM.
• Troubleshoot using test results, schematics and drawings.
• Conduct in-process inspection during assembly.
• Maintain 5S and support Lean initiatives.
• Assist assembly of systems and sub-assemblies.
• Lift/position products using overhead cranes and material handling devices.
• May work across multiple buildings as needed.
