Job summary

Innomotics is seeking an Electrical Test Technician I (2nd Shift) in New Kensington, PA. The role involves testing variable frequency drives, subassemblies and components, plus assembly of systems and sub-assemblies, under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor.

You will use test equipment, follow drawings and BOMs, and maintain a safe, clean work area while supporting lean initiatives. Hours are Monday–Thursday 3 PM–Midnight; Friday 10 AM–2 PM with a $2.50 shift differential and a pay

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent.
• Experience with test equipment: oscilloscope, hi-pot tester, DMM, and clamp-on current transformers.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, wiring schematics and bill of materials.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate product functionality to pre-defined test criteria using test equipment.
• Adhere to safety policies and wear PPE.
• Assist EET-II and EET-III with connection and energizing of final product at various voltages.
• Perform FAT testing and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams and BOMs, assemble subsystems, and troubleshoot with guidance.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S and Lean practices.
• Support assembly of systems and sub-assemblies.
