Job summary

Otis Florence site is seeking a Tester to perform functional tests on electrical components, verify assemblies against wiring diagrams, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires basic troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across multiple test lines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of wire diagrams and hand tools, plus good communication, are essential as the team drives continuous improvement and operator training in a 1st shift setting.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred in electrical/electronic curriculum.
• 1–2 years in production assembly; 2+ years in product testing is a plus.
• Comply with EH&S policies and wear PPE; understand KPC requirements.
• Maintain 5S standards and participate in CI training in year one.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional tests on components to ensure correct operation per work instructions.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting on assemblies and resolve issues where possible.
• Perform Hipot and Continuity tests across multiple test lines.
• Utilize MTS and OFS to support TPM, Tier 1, and 5S practices.
• Train associates on product testing requirements and test cell configurations.
