Job summary

Responsibilities include promoting wiring best practices, testing wired components, troubleshooting with Engineering, and ensuring timely production releases. Applicants should have relevant manufacturing experience and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• 2 years' experience in manufacturing/production.
• Strong understanding of industrial control wiring.
• Ability to troubleshoot wiring and control apparatuses to root cause.
• Experience with live voltage.
• Familiar with production equipment, processes and safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote best practices for wiring and assemblies.
• Ensure functional testing of wired components.
• Support programming and troubleshooting with Engineering and Quality.
• Coordinate with supervision to release builds in a timely manner.
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and functioning.
• Verify wiring per BOMs and schematics; select wire types/sizes as needed.
• Operate hoist or other lifting device as required.
• Document errors and suggest engineering changes or improvements.
• Assist with wire harness assembly and panel wiring as needed.
