Job summary

HW Staffing co is hiring an electrical test technician for a temporary role on 1st shift, 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a pay range of $21–$22 per hour. The position emphasizes testing electronic components, building test setups, organizing data, and maintaining schedules in a dynamic lab.

0-2 years in product development and an AS in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field are expected; LED testing knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Product development experiences – 0-2 years.
• AS in electrical engineering technology or related engineering degree – 0-5 years' experience.
• Test equipment knowledge with oscilloscopes, AC/DC power sources, multimeters, wattmeters and other components.
• Experience with lab work, or relevant projects.
• Familiarity with testing LED drivers, LED lights – preferred.
• Experience with writing technical reports and performing technical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing and analysis for electronics and other electrical projects based on defined testing procedures.
• Build testing setups for electrical and electronics projects.
• Organize and structure data in appropriate formats.
• Maintain and deliver on testing schedule.
• Ability to work in a dynamic setting where project length can vary from short to long term.
