Flextronics - The Flex Company is seeking an Electrical Test Technician to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for completing electrical testing of products during manufacturing based on established procedures. The position requires strong skills in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and effective communication.

Qualifications

Job Summary

We are looking to add an Electrical Test Technician located in Dallas, Texas. Reporting to the Electrical Engineer, the Electrical Test Technician will complete electrical testing of products during the manufacturing process based on established testing procedures. Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.

Typical Day

• Follow AC/DC schematics and wiring diagrams to test main electrical distribution AC/DC systems.
• Perform testing on HVAC, lighting, receptacles, fans, fire alarm systems, battery system, and merging of cables.
• Work closely with engineering and production to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely testing.
• Troubleshoot assembly, wiring, and testing problems.
• Draft detailed technical reports and recommend modifications to correct problems.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical testing or related field.
• Knowledge of testing of three‑phase AC and DC control circuits.
• Good working knowledge of standard electrical testing and measuring equipment.
• Knowledge of Electrical Safety Procedures and NEC Codes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to discuss product flaws constructively.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software for test reports and proposals.
