Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division seeks an Electrical Test Team Lead - 3rd Shift at Oakleys Ct, Richmond, VA. The role tests and modifies electrical equipment post-production, inspects functions, and ensures test procedures meet specs.

Core hours are 10:00pm–6:30am. The position offers benefits, a $2 shift differential, and a $2,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires. Leadership experience is preferred for overseeing test activities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical test or related electronic technologies field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographical area (50 mile radius) will be considered.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test and/or modify electrical equipment post-production, inspecting functions and test procedures.
• Organize priorities for daily shipment goals in the test area and support test bay safety.
• Train less experienced technicians and manage test reports, logs, and records.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC circuitry and printed circuit assemblies to component level.
• Set up test reports based on sales orders and customer specifications.
• Perform system tests including IR and dielectric testing and complete documentation.
