Mainstream Engineering Corporation in Florida is seeking an Electrical Engineer to bridge design and manufacturing, advancing thermal control and energy conversion products with robust test hardware from prototype to production.

You will design PCBs, program controllers, and assemble fixtures while developing data acquisition systems using Python, LabVIEW, PLC, Visual Studio, and C/C++. Collaboration across engineering teams is essential to ensure quality and repeatability.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology with experience
• Hands-on with test equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.)
• Design and lay out PCBs for various applications
• Programming of controllers and data acquisition systems
• Knowledge of CAD software and manufacturing standards (IPC, UL, FCC)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsabilités

• Design and fabricate test fixtures for development, qualification, and production
• Collaborate with product development to design for testability and transition to manufacturing
• Design, lay out, assemble, and test PCBs
• Develop data acquisition systems, automated test scripts, and GUIs using Python, LabVIEW, PLC, Visual Studio, and C/C++
• Program microcontrollers to interface with peripherals and communication protocols
• Design and execute mechanical integration and fabrication of custom test fixtures
