Actalent is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on power electronics products. You will design, develop, and execute electrical and mechanical test procedures, build test fixtures, and support development, validation, and production testing activities.

You will contribute to new product development, automation, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include designing test procedures, building fixtures, testing PCB assemblies and inverter

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 37+ years of electrical test engineering experience.
• 3+ years using oscilloscope, DMM, function generator, power supply, DAQ.
• PCB testing and power electronics testing experience.
• Experience with electrical test systems in manufacturing/validation.
• Ability to create wiring diagrams including AutoCAD Electrical.
• Experience with National Instruments tools.
• LabVIEW for automated test systems development is a plus.
• Altium experience for PCB design/documentation.
• HV testing and lab-based high voltage equipment experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute detailed mechanical and electrical test procedures.
• Design and build PCB test fixtures and test systems.
• Test power electronics products including inverters and cooling systems.
• Create wiring diagrams and select components per ampacity/voltage.
• Capture and interpret test data using oscilloscopes, DMMs, DAQ, HV equipment.
• Perform thermal, environmental, HALT, lifecycle tests for validation.
• Troubleshoot failures and perform root-cause analysis in production.
• Provide test feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Support and enhance LabVIEW-based automated test systems.
• Generate test reports and maintain testing documentation.
• Assist production and customers with validation and troubleshooting.
• Drive continuous improvement to test coverage and quality.
• Contribute to engineering automation projects across product lifecycle.
• Travel less than 10% as needed.
