Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering with progressive experience: 4+ years with Bachelor, 2+ with Master.
• Strong understanding of engineering concepts and ability to apply them in evolving environment.
• Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and plans for test systems and programs.
• Analyze and resolve test engineering problems across systems including power electronics and satellite modules.
• Translate requirements into verification tests and instructions.
• Lead design concepts and engineering efforts for testing.
• Create and update test procedures and assist subcontractors in testing.
• Install and set up instrumentation at San Diego and remote sites.
• Conduct testing and verification as directed by the Test Lead.
• Travel up to 25% to test sites.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety compliance.
