Job summary

Northrop Grumman's Space Sector in Gilbert, AZ, seeks an Electrical Test Engineer - Level 3/4 to join our Test Engineering Organization. You will collaborate with EGSE, design, and manufacturing teams to support electrical ground systems and CCA testing.

The role emphasizes test plan development, troubleshooting, and mentoring, with opportunities to lead process improvements, participate in reviews, and contribute to program milestones.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience with Bachelors in STEM; 3 years of relevant experience with Masters in STEM; 1 year of relevant experience with PhD in STEM
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
• Experience in hardware design, testing, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and circuitry
• Strong analytical/diagnostic skills for solving technical challenges
• Ability to work various shifts, inclusive of after hours and weekends

Responsibilities

• Work with multidisciplinary teams (EGSE, Design Eng., Manufacturing) and participate in design reviews
• Collaborate with the EGSE Lead to develop Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) requirements
• Generate test plans and procedures to ensure compliance with specifications
• Perform or oversee testing and troubleshooting of flight and non-flight CCAs or electronic modules
• Analyze test results, trends, and drive resolution of anomalies or failures
• Mentor team members in diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Identify areas for process improvements in test and troubleshooting activities, yield, and test fidelity
• Support cost estimation, proposal development, and functional initiatives
